Bob Dylan's a Sell-Out (Youtube Outtake)
This was some aborted mess of a video that started when two users on my youtube page (Dunnfield and Stude444) started having a debate on what musical artists have "Sold-Out." I had been doing some research on EARLY and LATE Bob Dylan songs, and at the same time dressing like him:

Oh man, I am RIGHT there with you with those damn beta channels! I logged in just the other day and BAM...beta channel. Needless to say, I was pissed. I sent a few angry letters straight to Youtube. But of course, we all know that will do absolutely NOTHING.
ReplyDeleteI mean seriously, did you see the comments on the Youtube blog MONTHS AGO when they were talking about forcing people to use beta channels back then? Let's just say, there was about ONE good comment for every MILLION bad comments. I'd say about 95% of the comments were just big F-bombs to Youtube for doing this.
And now look...three months later...
Obivously, Youtube doesn't listen to its users. ;)

ReplyDeleteWith the new Youtube beta channels, oh man I hate them. They don't work on the Ps3 browser, and me being the hard head that I am I TRY to use the Ps3 browser to watch videos (TRY IS THE KEY WORD HERE)
The older channels run great, but once you get on them new beta channels the Ps3 browser keeps refreshing and trying to load that Youtube XL crap.
Speaking of that, the other day I decided "sure what the hell ill try Youtube XL since it keeps loading a anyway."
So I go to load up a channel, none of the videos work. I keep getting a message "This video cannot play on this device."
Sooo..I'm pretty much screwed from going to channels on my Ps3 on youtube now since most of them are beta.
The browser in general sucks ass on the Ps3, they really need to fix all the problems with it crashing and freezing. The option of watching videos on youtube on my Ps3 was a really cool deal, I guess not anymore.
I find it quite awesome how I provoked a reaction from someone not involved in the argument. You were an innocent bystander Tolstoy and we dragged you in, I hope you can forgive me...

I never thought of Bob Dylan as a dying [insert animal here]. He sounded more like Irish to me when listening to the song "Oh the times they are a-changin'!"
ReplyDeleteReally I consider someone a sellout if they put little to no effort into their work just to make a quick buck. For example, Shrek 1 was made with lots of effort put into it but when the third sequile or whatever came out, it wasn't as good. But this isn't my officual defenition.
BTW, if you are this easly dragged in into debates/arguments where you'll make a video, I think I should start doing arguments.
